Matt,
What a beautiful boy. The time you had with him was far too short, but obviously so filled with love. The video of you dancing with him was touching.
I also have a daughter with serious congenital heart problems. She had coarctation of the aorta repaired in Iowa City at 9 days old, and valvuloplasty when she was 3. Cassie is 6 now, in kindergarten and doing well. It’s almost easy to forget at times that more challenges no doubt will come in the future.
I will think of you and Kevin as I remember how precious each day is that we have her. Thank you.

I love to see the pictures. He was so sweet and happy and loving. I dream about him sometimes, and each time in my dreams, he hugs me, and it feels so real, and is so comforting. He’s even patted my back a few times. I miss him so much.

I am so glad you found these pictures. That must have felt so great and I would have ordered them all too if I were you. I also loved looking at all the past Christmas pictures of your family. I thought of you and Dawn a lot this past Christmas.
