The Sharpie Disaster
December 3rd, 2007 | by Mom and Dad |For the last few weeks, Kevin has been turning into quite the little devil. He is getting into everything, messing up everything he can find, zooming his cars off tables, standing on end tables, breaking Emily’s toys, and generally causing as much mayhem as he can. We hate to attribute it just to being a boy, but it does seem like “boys will be boys” sure fits in his case.
Today while Dawn was doing the dishes, Kevin wandered into Emily’s room and found one of his favorite things in her art box – a black sharpie marker. He’s had a sharpie incident before with the couch, so he knows how to handle it as a weapon. By the way it looks, he went right to work destroying his sister’s room and prized possessions. In a few minutes he managed to leave his mark all over the room.

I’m usually on your side, Kevin, but you look really guilty in the video. I’m glad they forgave you…

This is exactly what Ashlyn has been doing too.
It amazes me how fast they can destroy everything, yet it is so hard to be mad at them because they are so darn cute.
When did they get so big?

Obviously Kevin has inherited some artistic talent from his paternal great great grandmother Jeni!!

Kevin is doing what all little two years old do- go thru the terrible two’s. Our 20 month old G-daughter Sarah- who I baby sit for- watches and waits to see me leave the room she’s in, she can wreck that room in nano-seconds. It’s a challenge to get thru the two year old age- we always say it’s “training ground for teenage years.” So get ready…
God Bless,
Mikki & Butch

We have not heard if you got the doll head repaired from the sharpie issue. Hope Emily was able to get her doll back together.
