We loved the pictures and souvenirs.

I had a wonderful time taking care of your home. However, I felt some of the emptiness you feel on a daily basis. It was very hard to be at your home and not hear and see Kevin. I was supposed to take care of him and Keaton and it was a very empty feeling not having Kevin around. I miss him so much it cannot be put into words. It was comforting remembering all the things we experienced at your house with Kevin. The first night Keaton and I stayed there he looked in the tub and laughed and said “Kiki, me, bath!” He remembers all the good times too and that makes me so happy. I loved sitting on your couch at night and looking at the beautiful pictures of Kevin on the walls. I will always think of him with those big eyes and beautiful smile. I cried the first night before we went to bed when Keaton bent over the statue of the little boy on the tractor you have on the fireplace. He kissed the little boys face and said, “Good Night Kiki”. We all miss him, but we can still talk to him and about him. We will never forget his wonderful spirit and soul.

I loved staying at your home, because it truly is a home! Your love for family, friends, and animals is so strong it is comforting. I love you all!

P.S. Give Poncho a hug from Keaton, he misses his little fury friend!

I actually felt comfort coming home and seeing pictures of his smiling face around the house.

I love reading about your memories about Kevin, so I hope you’ll both keep sharing them. Kristel sent me a picture of Kevin and Lily in their p.j.’s looking so sleepy with Kevin’s arm on Lily, and we love it. New pictures and videos seem like moments with him again, and memories.
